Woman safely escapes early morning house fire in SE Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Twenty-two firefighters battled the blaze near Church and Maple.

Authorities say the homeowner noticed the fire before smoke detectors were activated.

Two people are displaced and being assisted by the Red Cross.

Firefighters tell us there is a little more than a $100,000 in damage.

No one was injured and the cause the fire is under investigation.
