FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Runners hit the pavement on Sunday for the Two Cities Marathon & Half in Fresno and Clovis.
Nearly 3,000 people took off from Northeast Fresno on Sunday morning and made their way through the course as spectators held signs and cheered them on.
Edward Korir crossed the finish line at Woodward Park first in just over 2 hours, 28 minutes.
Molly Friel was the fastest woman in the race, with a time of 2 hours, 54 minutes.
