Police say body found behind a dumpster in Northeast Fresno is a homicide

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno police are investigating a homicide in Northeast Fresno. They said a body was found behind a shopping center.

Investigators said a man's body was discovered by a security guard at about eight Wednesday morning. It was behind a dumpster near Barstow Avenue and First Street.

At this point, it is not clear how he died, but the security guard told police the man had blood on his face and police say he suffered trauma to his body.
