Copper wire thief hits Tulare County irrigation pump

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Authorities in the South Valley are asking for the public's help to track down a metal thief.

Tulare County sheriff's deputies say someone stole copper wire from an irrigation pump near Road 176 and Avenue 152. The property owner made the discovery around 8 a.m. Saturday and estimates the loss at $3,000 to $5,000.
