FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Valley Children's Hospital in Madera gave their patients the chance to be superheroes.
The hospital held its third annual run with the heroes 5K this morning.
The run and awareness walk brought nearly 1,500 people to the hospital campus.
Proceeds from the event benefitted George's Pass, a program designed to improve the car and ease the hospital experience for children with autism spectrum disorder.
Runners and walkers enjoyed music, food, and fun activities for patients.
