Visalia Police find missing woman dead

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police are investigating a homicide after a woman who was reported missing was found dead in Visalia.

Officers found a woman dead on Garden Street near Rose Avenue around 9:30 p.m. on Friday.

They say she was reported missing earlier in the evening, and they'd been searching for her in the area. There's no word yet on how she was killed, or her identity.
