Bakersfield Student Arrest after Soccer Fight

The East Bakersfield High School student who attacked a local high school student after a soccer championship game was arrested on campus this morning.Ryan Woolley was arrested and faces battery charges for punching Memorial's Liam Hall and one of his teammates in the face.

The fight happened at the end of last night's game between San Joaquin Memorial High and East Bakersfield.

The 2 teams battled into overtime in a drama packed title game. It was just after the referee's whistle blew to end the game that the incident occurred.

Hall was being observed at a Bakersfield hospital and had a broken molar. Woolley has been suspended from school, and was taken to the kern county jail.
