3.5-magnitude quake hits Inyo, Kern counties

The U.S. Geological Survey reports that a 3.5-magnitude earthquake occurred in eastern California, just before 4 a.m. Saturday.The quake hit 14 miles southeast of Coso Junction in Inyo County and about 23 miles north of Ridgecrest in Kern County.

There were no reports of damage or injuries.
