Police said there have been a string of shootings and stabbings in the last few weeks between rival gang members. The latest incident on Sunday killed 15-year-old Destinee Ortiz.
Police arrested 70 suspected gang members. Officers want the neighborhood to feel safe again.
Police said over half of those arrested are bulldog gang members. They also seized drugs and weapons.
