A Madera County hazmat team is on the scene of a toxic explosion caused by a super meth lab.Firefighters said Friday night two structures behind a home on the 1800 block of Avenue 16 and a half blew up. Investigators found evidence of a super meth lab but hazmat couldn't clean it up until Monday.

Agents with the Madera County Narcotic Enforcement Team and a State Hazmat Team are collecting evidence and cleaning up the toxic site Monday morning.

Agents said they'll need at least four 55-gallon drums to remove all the contaminated soil from the area. The estimated cost of the cleanup is around $25,000.

This is Madera County's third massive meth lab explosion in 6 years.
