Message of Change

President-elect Barack Obama's former pastor brought a message of change and hope to Fresno. The Reverend Otis Moss III, made a guest appearance at Saint's Rest Baptist Church in southwest Fresno.

His sermon centered on the biblical story of a man who was blind, but a miracle helped him see. Moss says everybody should have hope that change is possible, a message parishioners related to the recent presidential election.

Ocielee Dorsey, Saints Rest Baptist Church Member, says "I just thank God I've seen this much of a change? I didn't think I'd ever see this. But I'm so proud I did see it."

Connie Clendenan, Saints Rest Baptist Church Visitor, says "There is hope. It is a great thing. We were blind, but now we see."

Moss took over as senior pastor at Chicago's Trinity United Church of Christ in March.

Obama later left the church because of the controversy surrounding the Reverend Jeremiah Wright, who was the church pastor before Moss.
