Mural along Highway 168

May 30, 2009 11:38:03 PM PDT
The view along highway 168 just got a little prettier, thanks to kids from Clovis East High School. Eastbound traffic will see the mural they put up today on the side of the highway near the Bullard exit.

About 200 students have been working at school to put together the mural for the last 3 months.

It's based on a local artist's painting of a cowboy walking his horse, right in front of a home with an SUV. They say it's the old west meeting the new west. This is the 15th highway mural the rotary club has put up with the help of local high schoolers.
