$10 Million Pledge to Fresno State

It's the largest single donation in the history of Fresno State Athletics ... a 10-million dollar commitment from former Bulldog football player and Nykel Bam International CEO ... Alphonso Bigelow

At an afternoon press conference ... Fresno State officials announced the money would be used to upgrade facilities and provide scholarships for student athletes.

Eight-million dollars has been earmarked to help build a new sports medicine center ... a student-athlete village and a soccer-lacrosse stadium. And in beginning in 20-10 ... Bulldog Stadium will get artificial turf.

Bigelow ... a 1996 graduate who played under Jim Sweeney hopes his hefty donation can take Fresno State Athletics to the next level

Bigelow says his Fresno-based company helps facilitate private commodity transactions with an emphasis in gold and diamonds.

School officials say the 10-million dollar donation will be paid over the next five years ... with the first chunk of 5-hundred thousand dollars to be paid next week.
