Former Granite Park Owner Milt Barbis Files for Bankruptcy

FRESNO, Calif. /*Milt Barbis*/ still owes $1.9-million dollars alone for the trees he purchased for the development that ended up dying and were never even planted.

The bankruptcy report, lists numerous local businesses owed. The city of Fresno is among the creditors due money ... one debt is for an unpaid water bill amounts to $53-thousand dollars.

Unpaid bills for security services for when Cabo Wabo was open is still a sore subject for the owner of Creative Security Solutions. He says he's owed $150-thousand dollars and many of his employees were never paid for the hours they worked at Granite Park.

Other creditors include a equipment rental and leasing company out of Belgium called Fitraco. They are owed about $2.5-million dollars. Fresno Plumbing and Heating is also on the list, they are owed about $379-thousand dollars and California Quality Interiors is owed $296-thousand dollars.
