Runner Takes First Place Despite Phobia of Bridges

KEY WEST, Fla. Take a look at this video from the annual seven mile bridge run in the Florida Keys on Saturday.

The race shut down traffic on the bridge for about two hours. This is the longest bridge on the Florida Keys overseas highway.

But it only took a North Carolina dentist about 38 minutes to finish in first place, despite his phobia of crossing bridges over water.

The event first started in 1982 to celebrate the construction of a federally funded building project.
