They'll be leaving in the coming weeks but organizers say they're already experiencing some trouble recruiting host families for next year.
Last year, the program experienced a similar problems as host families backed out due to the economy.
"If you even think that you might want to do it, give us a call. It doesn't have to be your typical mom, dad, brother, sister, dog cat, it can be anybody," Cheryl Gomes Williams said.
The students have their own health insurance and spending money.
