Shooting in Northwest Fresno injures one

It happened just after 2:30 a.m. Monday morning at Mission and State.

Fresno Police told Action News they received a call for a disturbance in the area. When they arrived at the scene they found one man suffering from a single gunshot wound.

An ambulance took the man to the hospital; he is expected to be okay. Officers say the victim is cooperating with their investigation as they to figure out what led to the shooting.
