Study: Rude workers get paid more

A new study in the Journal Of Personality And Social Psychology shows agreeable workers earn significantly lower incomes than less agreeable ones.

Researchers surveyed about 10,000 wokers on how nice they are at work compared to how much they get paid. The gap is especially wide for men.

Men who weren't as agreeable earned about 18 percent more or about $9,700 more a year than nice guys. Ruder women earned about 5 percent or nearly $1,800 more a year than their kinder counterparts.
