Kiri, an eleven-year-old Malayan Tiger, passed away Monday morning.
The tiger recently began to show a decline in health and according to zoo keepers began vomiting and was unable to keep fluids down.
After performing procedures and test to find the cause of her symptoms, medical experts are not sure what the source of her illness was.
Kiri came to Fresno in 2000 from the Cincinnati Zoo.
Workers and fans of the tiger are devastated about the loss.
