That's actually the name of their team, and they started by delivering a check for more than $2,000 to the Poverello House to help feed the homeless.
The girls raised the money by collecting pocket change, donations, and recycling cans and bottles. They also hosted a yard sale recently, with all of the proceeds going toward Wednesday's "big give".
The Girls Can Change The World team includes Kelsey Fernandez, Jacqueline Prieto, Xiomara Rodriguez, and Sophie Thompson. They are all classmates at Riverview Elementary School.
The team is part of Destination Imagination -- an educational program in which student teams are challenged to identify a community need, and find ways to help the cause.
