Fresno's Dickey Park gets revitalized

Hundreds of people gathered in downtown Fresno Saturday to celebrate the revitalization of Dickey Park.

The Salvation Army provided free food for everyone and gave Easter bags to the children.

The park recently had its volleyball and basketball courts resurfaced, and plans are underway to add a backstop for baseball and softball games.

City leaders say the park is a full service center with recreational programs and activities to meet the needs of families in the Lowell neighborhood.
