Bullard High School unveils updated campus plans

FRESNO, Calif.

The plans for new buildings and classrooms at Bullard High School in Northwest Fresno were unveiled on Monday night. Fresno Unified invited the public to view the updated plans and get their feedback on a new vision for the campus which would eliminate all portable classroom buildings.

"We're also looking at new building on the front of Palm that would add-on to our library, and that would be our new counseling center, a career center and an administration building. So, the entire front of the campus would change," said Brian Beck, Bullard High Principal.

The new construction will be funded by the Measure Q bond which voters approved in 2010.

If the projects stay on track, groundbreaking should take place next summer.
