FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man will soon head to court after he was accused of spray painting graffiti on an historic Native American rock carving in Sequoia National Forest.
The damaged carving was found this summer by members of the local tribe.
Officers arrested Christopher James Harp earlier this month and was indicted on Monday.
If convicted, Harp could face up to 10 years in prison plus fines of up to $250 thousand.
The tribe is still trying to figure out how to clean up the graffiti while avoiding any more damage to the carving.
