Three Missing Sisters Returned Home Safely

KFSN 1/23/2008 The three local girls reported missing Monday arrived back home Tuesday night. The sisters returned home around 10 o'clock last night after a joyride that lasted more than a day and hundreds of miles.

Sheriff's deputies say 13 year old Kristy Harrison drove off in her uncle's car Monday afternoon, taking her 7-year-old and 2-year-old sisters with her. Authorities in Santa Barbara County found them after Kristy tried to use a gas card.

Detectives say the teen drove the entire day, apparently got lost and was trying to find her way back home.

Fresno county sheriff's investigators say the girls slept during the entire ride back to the valley. They arrived back home tired, but are otherwise okay.
