After the verdict, Cutts' attorney, Fernando Mack, said they will take some time to consider their legal options. "I just think that we have to soak this in, make an evaluation, and comply with that gag order at this time," said Mack.
Cutts also was convicted of abuse of a corpse, burglary and child endangerment.
Earlier in the week, he testified that he killed Davis with a blow to the throat during a disagreement and dumped the body in a park in a panic last June.
