Rooney was transferred to Markham Middle School last fall
The assistant principal is currently in jail charged with some very serious felonies -- kidnapping, aggravated sexual assault on a minor. Bail is set at $1 million.

3/13/2008 WATTS The report says Rooney was transferred from Fremont High School after he was investigated last year on allegations of statutory rape of a 17-year-old girl. LAPD investigators were never able to prove the allegation and no charges were filed.
