Fresno Teens Nearly Buried Alive

Two Fresno teens have been rescued after being nearly buried alive after a sand tunnel collapses on the Central Coast. The accident happened at the Montana De Oro State Park just north of Pismo Beach. Nathaniel Aguirre and Vincent Aguirre were both buried after a sand tunnel they were digging collapsed.

According to a San Luis Obispo newspaper, one teen has been released from the hospital the other remains hospitalized after suffering hypothermia.

Rescuers say the Fresno boys were buried up to their neck and chest for up to 90 minutes.
