Father Charged in Son's Death

4/24/2008 Fresno, CA The DA's office says there was not enough evidence to file charges against Lashonda Caldera. However the child's father Eddie Hamilton has been charged with murder and assault.

On Friday Caldera called 911 to report her baby was unresponsive after a nap.

Police took the couple into custody Tuesday after an autopsy revealed the child had been severely abused. Investigators questioned the parents throughout the weekend before determining Hamilton was responsible for the child's death.
