A weapon of war was just tossed out in the Valley and now it's a training tool for officers.A "bazooka" was found behind a fast food restaurant in Turlock. Authorities said an employee found the rocket launcher and a few missiles while taking out the trash Monday.

The Stanislaus County Bomb Squad was called and eventually determined the weapon did not work and the missiles were no threat.

Authorities are now using the bazooka to train bomb squad deputies. Since it doesn't actually work, the bazooka is being used in tactical exercises.
