Rash of Restaurant Robberies in Hanford

Fresno, CA, USA Police say two gunmen barged in right around closing time and cleared out the cash register before they drove off in an employee's car.

The car was found a few blocks away. Robbers have hit a total of six businesses including a "Dominoes", a "Quiznos", and a "Me-n-Ed's".

Police believe at least some of the robberies are related and they're asking business owners to stay alert. Justin Vallin from the Hanford Police Department said, "We continue to urge business owners to be aware of their surroundings. If anyone does come in and demand money, please give them what they're wanting."

"We're worried in the neighborhood. We're worried about it. Hopefully they'll get some more police over here," said Tony Floriz.

Police say some customers have been victimized too. The robberies are such a concern Hanford Police have three investigators working full time to catch the suspects.
