After a slow start for the Bears in Seattle, they got it together and pulled out a 25-19 come from behind win. The Bears rallied from a 13-nothing deficit in one of the toughest places to play in the NFL.
Lovie was asked about it being an "ugly win" for the Bears. It's funny how that term gets thrown around. Where did it come from? The bottom line is there's 60 minutes in a football game and which ever team has more points at the end wins...period. Lovie responded to the question by saying, "I don't know what you're talking about...all wins in the NFL are pretty." I would have to agree with him on this one. Winning in the NFL is not easy, ask the Lions or Rams. They've won one game (Sunday for the Lions) in the last 33 contests!
You take wins any way you can get them. Whether someone wants to call it pretty, ugly, or somewhere in between they all count the same. I've never heard a coach or a player say after a game, "Well we lost, but it at least it was a pretty loss."

Are you ready for some football!!??? And laughs!?? We had a great first show to kickoff the season. Not to mention, we finally chose our Chicago Huddle Spokesperson...in fact we chose two! Both Jennifer and Shae will be a great addition this year. They are talented and camera savvy, and bring unique attributes to the show. We pretty much fell in love with both of them. Therefore, we decided to have them alternate weeks, and I think you will like them both.
On the next show, Anthony Adams will make his debut as my co-host. He made an appearance on the show last year and had us all laughing with his impressions of Lovie, Mike Singletary, and Joe Paterno. He's one of the funniest guys I've ever met. We shot promos for the Huddle last week and could barely get through it because Anthony was delivering one funny line after another. We will post some of those outtakes to the web shortly so be on the look out for that. Anthony moved into a starting role on the Bears defensive line this year as well, so we're also expecting his play to be as big as his personality.
Hope to see you for our next taping Friday at 4pm at ESPN Zone!
