Officers were called out after the man reportedly fired gunshots during a domestic disturbance at a home near Clayton and Walnut in Southeast Fresno.
Deputies found him holed up in a barn on the property. After two hours of negotiations officers say the man pointed his gun at deputies, that's when they opened fire.
The suspect hasn't been identified. He was taken to a Fresno hospital. His wounds are not life-threatening.
