That ad is just one of many now airing in Southern California. Nevada leaders say they just want to show California business owners what Nevada has to offer. They say Nevada is a business friendly state when compared to California.
"In essence they can't do business. There's too many rules and regulations. Taxes are too high. Workman's comp is too high and the regulations just overpower them," said Somer Hollingsworth with the Nevada Development Authority.
Nevada is already facing some backlash because of the ads. At least one television station in Los Angeles, ABC 30's sister station KABC, refused to air the ad because of the negative impact it could have on California.
