National Parks Waive Entrance Fees

California News Saturday, /*Sequoia*/ and /*Kings Canyon National Park*/ is waiving its entrance fees. It's part of "National Public Lands Day" which celebrates volunteerism on public lands.

Volunteers over the weekend will work with staff to re-vegetate some areas. /*Yosemite National Park*/ is also participating in the event.

About two-thousand volunteers will help remove trash from park roadways and trails, and clean up after a busy summer season.
