All of a sudden, the driver swerved into a drainage canal, launching the car into the air.
The car struck power lines, and knocked over some large trees. The driver flew so far into the woods police had a hard time finding the car.
Utility crews were called out to restore power. The driver was hurt but is expected to recover.
