It's not often Pat Hill beats the Pac-10 on a blue chip recruit but that's exactly what happened on Monday. All-American punter Matt Darr de-committed from USC to come to play football at Fresno State. The Bakersfield star turned down the Trojans offer after meeting with Coach Hill over the weekend. One of the nation's most sought after punters, Darr also kicked field goals and played linebacker at Frontier High. And was state champion in both the shot putt and discus throw.

This is just a verbal commitment, National Signing Day is Wednesday.
