Police look for suspects in Central Fresno shooting

FRESNO, Calif. "This was not a random act, they knew exactly what apartment and who to contact," said Mike Doyle with the Fresno Police Department.

Police say around 11 p.m. Wednesday night two men, one wearing a mask, followed some people into an apartment on Bond Avenue.

Police say the gunmen demanded some property from a man inside the apartment and then shot him in the chest. The victim was taken the hospital.

Police say his wound is not life threatening and he is in stable condition. Detectives are looking into whether the shooting was gang or drug related.
