Friends of Shawna Kilbert held their second run and walk Saturday morning, raising money for families affected by cervical cancer.
Kilbert was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2006 and passed away in March of 2009 at the age of 34.
But before her death, she helped found the Shawna Kilbert Project -- an organization dedicated to helping other families affected by the disease.
Money raised during Saturday's event will be given to families to spend however they want, whether it's to pay a bill, or take a trip.
