Peggy Haupt has a progressive lung disease that has no cure and often goes undiagnosed. It's called Lymphangioleiomyomatosis. But it's more commonly known as "LAM".
On Saturday, Peggy is holding her second annual "Laps for LAM" Fundraiser Walk at the Chowchilla High School track.
Last year she walked 20 miles and raised $10,000.00 including a surprise donation from the Chowchilla High Student Body.
She's hoping to raise at least $5,000.00 this year to help find a treatment and cure for the disease.
The "Laps for LAM" event starts at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Chowchilla High School.
