Mexicana Airlines not returning to Fresno

Fresno Yosemite International Airport officials confirmed to action news -- the bankrupt carrier does not intend to make Fresno one of its stops.

Mexicana announced earlier this week -- it's working on a financial plan that would reinstate thirty flights.

That's about a quarter of its prior fleet.

Even though Mexicana won't be returning, airport officials are still actively working on bringing in other Mexican carriers.
