Dozens of demonstrators held signs near River Park, addressing everything from healthcare to the wars in Iraq And Afghanistan.
However, protestors say their central issue is corporate greed.
Some pushed to tax Wall Street and fund healthcare and job initiatives.
"Listen to the horns honking," demonstrator Judy Hess said. "So many people want things to get better. We no longer want corporations to own our democracy. That's what's going on right now."
Another Occupy Fresno demonstration is scheduled for Sunday afternoon at the same location.
