Fresno Police are investigating the suspicious death of a little girl.
Officers responded to a home in Southeast Fresno Monday afternoon in the area of Peach and Kings Canyon. When they arrived, they found a 4-year-old girl unresponsive. The girl was taken to Community Regional Medical Center where she was later pronounced dead.
Homicide detectives spent hours at that home Monday gathering evidence. Police are only calling it a suspicious death, so it's not clear if foul play was involved. An autopsy on the girl is scheduled for Tuesday.
