The U.S. is buying more produce from Mexico than from any other country.

Ag officials say Mexico has grown into the largest supplier of fruit and vegetables to the United States. Experts say that's thanks to heavy investments and because the country has launched new initiatives to stimulate Mexico's agricultural industry.

Mexican ag officials say they're investing billions of pesos to increase the value of different crops of fresh produce.
