Police say thieves are disguising themselves as electric, water or cable workers to rip people off, and they say elderly people are being targeted.
The latest theft was in the Spring Valley area. In their scam, one thief distracts the homeowner while another steals.
Remember, anyone who is a real utility worker will be able to provide official identification.
