The San Joaquin County Sheriff's Department says Claudia Gallardo was killed Friday night in the front yard of her neighbor's home. Investigators say that the she was not the owner of the dog.
Neighbors believe the dog could have jumped its fence to the get to the victim. Gallardo was pronounced dead at the scene.
Neighbors say the dog has gotten out and acted aggressive before.
