New pesticide labels have been released to protect honeybees in California.

Federal regulators say the labels will keep bees safe from pesticide exposure. The labels will have a bee advisory box and icon detailing routes of exposure and spray drift precautions.

Some bee keepers have lost up to 50-percent of their colonies this year alone. Bees are very important to growers in California because they are key to pollinating many crops.
