Some raisin growers disagree with crop predictions

The U.S. Department of Agriculture said a few months ago that this year's crop would be at least the largest since 2008. However, some growers say that prediction may be too optimistic. They say the summer heat and a lack of surface water could end up damaging their crop.

Raisin harvest is already underway with some farmers reporting their crops have been maturing at least a week ahead of a typical schedule.
