Mutton Bustin is back at the Big Fresno Fair

October 2, 2013 12:00:00 AM PDT
It's day six of the Big Fresno Fair where you can always count on there being something for everyone -- including the daring kids.

One popular sport for the little ones is Mutton Bustin -- the toughest sport on wool.

This extreme sport challenges children aged three to six years old to ride a sheep for six seconds. If successful, they receive a score and each winner has a chance to compete in the championship round. The young riders are taught the value of safety, confidence, and sportsmanship.
