John Gonzalez organized a halftime proposal with help from the school's athletic department. The Fresno State senior was on the field to participate in a halftime game and convinced his girlfriend Madison to go with him because he was nervous.
When the game was over, he pulled Madison over by his side then got down on one knee to pop the question, and she said yes!
John says he wanted to propose to Madison at Bulldog Stadium because that's where they met two years ago. They are both very involved with the school and are part of a club which encourages students to attend more athletics events.
They plan on getting married sometime after they graduate in 2015.
