Nineteen of its tournament players attended the championships on Saturday and Sunday, where they defended their championship against hundreds of other students in their age level.
This is their fourth championship title in four years. Three students picked up trophies for individual victories.
Coalinga Middle School has won a total of 12 state championships in the last six years. In the high school section, two Coalinga freshmen also won trophies.
